Exam 473/473-C was launched 12/1/04 to replace old exam 470. When the test is given to fill all processing, distribution and delivery jobs, it is called exam 473. When it is given to fill City Carrier jobs only, it is called exam 473-C. There have been no revisions to this exam since it was launched, and the Postal Service advises that no revisions are anticipated in the foreseeable future.

The book covers on these guides say that they are for both exams 460 and 470 because these two tests were identical in content. However, exam 470 was retired 12/1/04, so these guides are now applicable to exam 460 only. The first three guides listed are readily available. The last four guides listed are no longer in print, but they are still available from some booksellers.
