We reviewed all the free practice tests we could find online for Postal exams 474, 475, 476, and 477. (These four exams are used to fill over 95% of all Post Office jobs.) The results were grossly disappointing. Only one is truly up-to-date and ultra-realistic.

The biggest problem by far is that, except for one, all free practice tests are obsolete. There are other issues including incorrect formatting and questions that do not truly match the real exams, but obsolescence is the biggie.

Exams 474, 475, 476, and 477 just underwent major changes. Two former sections were removed, three new sections were added, and the remaining original sections were revised. We’re basically facing entirely new exams. Unfortunately, other publishers have not discovered this yet, and their materials are now completely outdated. See our article on these changes for details.
